Anne Dudek

Anne Louise Dudek (born August 25, 1970) is an American actor from the United States. She is famous for portraying Tiffany Wilson on the 2004 comedy White Chicks Danielle Brooks as Dr. Amber Volakis from Fox House, as Lura Grant on HBO's Big Love series and Francine Hanson in AMC's Mad Men. Anne Dudek was an American actor best known as Tiffany Wilson from the 2004 comedy White Chicks. The television roles she has played include Dr. Amber Volakis, in the Fox's House sitcom; Danielle Brookson, in USA Network drama Covert Affairs; and Lura Gran on the HBO the drama Big Love. Dudek is an Massachusetts native who attended Northwestern University. It was in Northwestern that she received her first acting job as Lura Grant in The Iphigenia Cycle. After the Broadway production, she travelled to New York City and won a Joseph E.Calloway Award. American Theater Magazine named her one of ten young actors worth watching. Dudek ended up landing roles on television and the large screen. From 2008 to 2016, the talented actress was married to Matthew Heller. Dudek was born in Boston Massachusetts on March 22 1975 but was raised in Newton. Her early years, she was a student in Northwestern University. During this time, she participated in various theater productions, in addition to performances in shows on Broadway. She later won the Connecticut Critics Circle Award for her performance in The Glass Menagerie. Then she appeared on TV first starring in The Book Group, a British comedy-drama The Book Group. She has also guest starred on a few other series like Desperate Housewives, Desperate I Met Your Mother and Friends Charmed Bones. In the pilot episode, Lucinda was portrayed by her. Then, she appeared on Law & Order Criminal Intent she played a teacher that is involved in a sexual relationship with a young child. Dudek was then cast as Amber Volakis. This character was one of the 40 doctors was Dr. Gregory House was considering to hire permanently as part of his team. This began in the Season 4 of the show. The character of Amber Volakis was featured in the course of the show, but was finally killed off at the conclusion of House's Heart. Later, she would return in a form of hallucination by House in the episode of the fifth season Saviors after which she appeared as a hallucination for the remainder of the season. Dudek was later seen in Big Love and Mad Men with recurring roles in the role of Alby Grant's shady spouses, Francine Hanson. In the year 2010, Dudek became part of the cast on Covert Affairs portraying Danielle Brooks the sister of the central character. Other film roles she has played are Tiffany Wilson (the cruise-line's heir) in White Chicks (2004) and Anthony Hopkins' daughter in The Human Stain.
